Currently he is working as research associate at the University of Kargujevac, Serbia. His research area includes Investigation of the mechanism of antitumor activity of various chemically synthesized inorganic and organic substances in relation to redox signaling (production of superoxide anion radicals, nitrogen monoxide and glutathione) on immortalized breast cancer cells of the MDA-MB-231 and HCT-116 columns. Also, an important part of the research is focused on testing the effects of these substances on the migratory potential of cancer cells. Development of biosensors for early detection of cancer. Research based on the detection of microRNA, which are considered precise biomarkers of every healthy and pathological condition of the cells. In addition to the work on the development of the mentioned biosensor, the field of interest also includes electrochemical testing of nucleic acids, proteins and their biomacromolecular complexes, primarily nucleosomes.
