Biography

He was born on September 27, 1979. in Kragujevac, where he finished elementary school and the First Kragujevac gymnasium as an excellent student. Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac finished (2002) with an average score of 8.03. During his studies, he actively participated in many international seminars including: Cologne : Strategy against corruption in the transition process ; Belgrade : Privatization as the Direction of Liberal Politics; Sofia : Social Policy in the Transition Period in South East Europe ; Ghent, Brussels : Economic Policy in the Context of Globalization ; and Pitesti : Transition Results and Experiences in Romania. He organized (2001) a seminar for students of the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac, where lectures were held by professors from Lund University, Sweden and Piteshti University, Romania. He participated (2003) at a training seminar organized by the EU in the Czech city of Brno on the topic "Project cycle management" and successfully completed it. During the studies he was president of the Student Sports Society and actively participated in the organizations of the Economy. At the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac in 2003, as an assistant-trainee in case the national economy. Postgraduate studies, majoring in theory and policy of economic development, the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac finished with an average score of 9.75. Master thesis under the titleThe new approach to the economic development of the national economy in terms of globalization defended in 2006. He became assistant lecturer in political economy was elected in 2007 in Lugano, on the Swiss Finance Institute, as a scholar of the Faculty of Economics, University of Lugano, finished (2007), master's degree in banking and finances. After passing the exam, he is registering a thesis with prof. Francois Degoorge , a renowned expert in corporate finance and management. The field of research of the master thesis was related to Private Equity and Venture capital investment funds. He defended his master's thesis at the University of Lugano in 2009. He received his PhD at the Singidunum University on June 16, 2011, in front of the commission composed of: prof. dr Zoran Jeremić, prof. dr Goran Pitić and prof. Dr. Miroljub Hadžić. He was elected professor at the University of Kragujevac in October 2011. In addition to the Faculty of Economics, he collaborated with Singidunum University (2008-2012), VentureExchange, a company based in Zagreb, to analyze the possibility of developing alternative sources of financing in countries Western Balkans and Technology Transfer Center of the University of Belgrade, on the project of creating spin-off companies owned by professors and researchers of the University. From 2012 to 2013, Nikola Makojević, Ph.D., was engaged in the IPA project "Integrated Innovation Support Program", with the main goal of strengthening the innovative capacities of the national economy through the development of alternative sources of financing economic activities. In 2013 he was a member of the Working Group of the Ministry of Economy of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for writing the Law on Venture Capital Funds.
