Biography

Dr Predrag Petrović was born on January 26, 1967 in Čačak, where he finished elementary and high school. He finished natural-mathematical direction at the Čačanska gimnazija, and during his studies he participated in numerous competitions in mathematics and physics, for which he was awarded on several occasions and for the results achieved at republican competitions (Alasova and Tesla's diploma). Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade enrolled in 1985, and continued in 1986 after serving military service. The Faculty graduated in June 1991 at the Department of Electronics with an average grade of 9.00 (nine decimal places), at the 10 (ten) graduation exam. In October 1991, he started a working relationship at the Technical Faculty in Cacak, as an assistant-trainee in the subjects of Electronics and Industrial Electronics , where he is still present. At the same time he enrolled postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, at the Department of Electronics. At the same faculty, he also received a master's degree on 5 July 1994 with the topic " Realization of digital data encryption ". He completed his postgraduate studies with an average grade of 10 (ten). He defended his doctoral thesis at the Technical Faculty in Novi Sad under the title " Measurement of electrical power by slow A / D conversion " under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Vladimir Vujičić on 7 July 2004. In March 1995, he was elected as an assistant at the Technical Faculty in Cacak and re-re-elected in March 1999 and 2003, for subjects Elektronika and Energetska elektronika . In January 2005, he was selected as an assistant professor, in September 2006 as an associate professor, and in March 2011 as a full-time professor in the field of electronics. From 1995 to 1998 he delivered lectures in the field of Electric Power Transformers, and since 1999 he has been teaching courses in Electronics II and Pulse and Digital Electronicsat the Technical Faculty in Cacak. He participated in teaching at specialist studies, as well as in separate centers in Pozarevac and Belgrade. He was a mentor in the preparation of several graduate works (total 16). In 2002, he received a prize from the Ministry of Science, Development and Technology for the best young scientists. In 2006, together with Professor Milorad Stevanović, he received a prize from the Ministry of Science of Republika Srpska for best published scientific work. In postgraduate studies, he is the coordinator of the teaching of the field of energy electronics .
