Predrag Stančić

Biography

He was born on November 8, 1954. in Kraljevo, Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac in 1978. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, Business Economics, Department of Financial and Accounting Analysis, in 1985. He defended his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade in 1994. He has been employed at the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac since 1978. Conducts lectures in the narrow scientific field Accounting, auditing and business finance in the subjects of Business finance (basic academic studies), Financial restructuring of companies (graduate academic studies), Strategic financial management (doctoral studies). The field of scientific interest is the field of accounting and business finance (the problems of the implications of long-term investment and financial decisions on the value of the company). So far, he has published more than sixty scientific papers at home and abroad. He was a mentor or member of the commission for the assessment or defense of several master papers, master theses and doctoral dissertations. He actively participated in applied research, where he led or participated in the development of a large number of different studies. He is a participant of several fundamental research projects and international projects. He held several duties at the Faculty of Economics (Vice-Dean for Material and Financial Affairs, President of the Council, President of the Doctoral Studies Commission, Head of the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Business Finance). At the University of Kragujevac, he served as director of the Center for Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies (2002-2003) and elected Senate (2009 -).
