Morphology, systematics, phylogenetics of higher plants. Ecology and applied ecology of plants. Photoremediation of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Pedology. The application of plants in the remediation of ecosystems that are naturally and / or anthropogenically loaded with various pollutants, primarily heavy metals.
