Biography
Dr. Vera Lazarević was born in 1955 in LuÄani, where she finished elementary school, and then Gimnazija in ÄŒaÄak. She graduated in 1978 at the Numerical Mathematics with Cybernetics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Belgrade. From 1978 to 1990 he worked at the Educational Center "DragaÄevski Battalion" in LuÄani, and since 1990 at the Technical Faculty in ÄŒaÄak. She completed her postgraduate studies at the study group for Algebra and Mathematical Logic, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Novi Sad, where in 1997 she defended her master's thesis entitled "Bipolum-value fuzzy sets", and thus gained her title as a Master of Mathematical Science. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "Algebraic structure of weakened networks and applications" in 2001 at the Institute of Mathematics of the Faculty of Mathematics in Novi Sad, and thus gained the academic title of Doctor of Mathematics. In 2006 she was elected as an associate professor at the Technical Faculty in Cacak. Since 2003 she has been engaged as head of the Department of Mathematics, Regional Center for Talents in Cacak, where as a mentor she prepares students of elementary and secondary schools for future work in mathematics.
