Biography

He was born on 26th of May, 1955 in Brezova near Studenica. He finished elementary school in Usce, and a high school of natural and mathematical direction in Kraljevo. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac in 1979. During his studies, he received three annual November awards, awarded to the best students of the University of Kragujevac, as well as a prize for achieving overall success during the studies. Postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, Department of Monetary Economics, enrolled in the school year 1981/82. as a scholar of the University of Kragujevac. Master thesis on monetary policy in the Yugoslav economy - theoretical and empirical analysis was defended in 1987. He received his Ph.D. in 1992 at the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac, defense of the dissertation, on the subjectObjective limits of the functioning of the market in modern conditions . After graduating, he was employed in Jugobanka - the Basic Bank in Kraljevo, where he worked in the service of short-term loans. He has been working at the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac since 1981 as an assistant-trainee in the Political Economy course. He was elected assistant in the same subject in 1988. He was elected as an assistant professor in the International Finance course in 1994, and in 1999 he was elected as an associate professor in the same subject. He was elected as a full professor in 2005. Since 2001, he was hired in the Federal Government of FRY, first as Assistant Minister of Finance - the sector: financial relations with abroad, and he was (2002-2003) and Federal Minister of Finance. He is currently serving as Secretary General of the Association of Serbian Banks. At the basic academic studies he surrenders to the International Finance and Fundamentals of Exchange Operations, and participates in the teaching of the course on the History of National Money. At the postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, the course: International Economics, lectures on the International Financial Management course. At the postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, he teaches International Finance. Participates in the teaching of brokering courses organized by the Securities Commission.
