PhD :In Inorganic Chemistry, Wayne State University, Detroit, MI 48202, USA; BSc :Special Degree in Chemistry, University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.

Research Interest

Current research is mainly focused on the synthesis and structure modification of transition and lanthanide metal catalysts suitable for utilization of environmental pollutants and biomass byproducts for the production of bio-fuels and industrial chemicals Pharmaceutical applications utilization of bio-waste for industrial and laboratory applications, and analysis of water and soil for pollutants such as heavy metals and radioactive elements are the other research interests.
