Biography

 10 years of Clinical Medicine taught me the value of careful assessment and using all data for correct diagnosis, which is the only true basis for therapy, and deep empathy for humans who suffer disease.  Now, approaching 25 years of drug development has given me a very wide and deep experience of leading and managing scientific innovation, smart drug development, meaningful derisking, investment portfolio balancing, market access, drug defence, and commercial optimisation. I thoroughly enjoyed my work at Almirall because of the breadth of oversight, the reach and influence in the organisation, and the depth of engagement of management and staff at all levels of Almirall. I have now signed up for ASLAN Pharmaceuticals in Singapore as their CSO. I am looking forward to work with this very experienced team and help progress and develop the company.
