Biography
Dee holds a Masters in Social Science (Counselling) from the University of South Australia and Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) degree from Monash University, Australia. Additionally, she has advanced training in Gottman Method Couples therapy. She is a New Zealander by birth, however as a global nomad, she has spent equal time in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and the UK, and as such, appreciates the difficulties many people experience when moving and living abroad. Dee provides counselling to pre-teens, adolescents, individual adults, couples and families for a broad range of issues. Her area of interest includes family and relationships, issues of adolescence, pre-natal and post-natal issues, transition and cultural adjustment, addictions, work-life balance, trauma and abuse. She has a business and management background and thus is also cognizant of the stresses of working in a corporate environment.
