Biography
Dr. David Cheong graduated from the University of Singapore in 1976 and went on to serve as a Dental Officer in the Republic of Singapore Air Force. Since 1978 he has been in private practice in Singapore’s Central Business District, as well a year-long stint in Central London. In 1984 he became a Partner of a local dental practice, a 5-dentists practice, and remained there until 2003. He has been at Aloha Dental Clinic since July 2003 as an Associate Dental Surgeon. Dr. Cheong believes in providing comprehensive dental health care for everyone, especially appropriate and timely interceptive treatment for children and young adults. He has also been preparing and learning to attend to an aging local population – a conviction that all can attain good dental health regardless of age. When not practicing dentistry in Singapore, he is often away in neighbouring ASEAN countries, and even as far as Nepal and Kenya, to give treatment to rural and isolated communities as well as social and church workers. He is active in his church and the Christian Medical and Dental Fellowship.
