Biography

Senior Vice President and President, Asia Pacific Medtronic  Bob is Senior Vice President and President, Asia Pacific at Medtronic, based in Singapore, and is a member of the Medtronic Executive Committee.   Previously, Bob was at Covidien plc from 2010 to 2014 where he served in roles of increasing responsibility – most recently as President, Emerging Markets preceded by President, Respiratory and Monitoring Solutions and Vice President and General Manager of Patient Monitoring. He has also held leadership positions at GE Healthcare and IBM. Among other industry involvement, Bob is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), as well as serving on the Boards of the Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed), US-ASEAN Business Council, the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation (APSF), and the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF). Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Cleveland State University and a master’s degree in finance and information systems from Case Western Reserve University.
