Tran Quan

Biography

Tran Quan has 29 year of healthcare industry experience. She spent initial years in hospital services specializing in Clinical Pharmacy, Purchasing, Retail and Outpatient Pharmacy. She has held Asia Pacific regional positions in pharmaceutical companies such as Eli Lilly and GlaxoWellcome (now GSK) and was the Director of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs at Johnson & Johnson Medical Asia Pacific for more than nine years pioneering premarket registration work on breakthrough device technologies such as Drug Eluting Stents. She was the Vice President of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs for Asia Pacific, GE Healthcare prior to joining APACMed as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs.   She has played an active role in the organizing of various Asia Pacific Clinical Research & Regulatory Conferences such as Asian Clinical Trial Conference & Asian Harmonization Working Party Conference. She also led the inaugural AHWP-RAPS Conference and several AHWP Annual meetings in the past decade. Quan is currently the Vice Chair of AHWP engaged in dialogue with regulators and industry, contributing to the Medical Device Regulatory harmonization and convergence in the Region. She graduated with a MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from The London School of Pharmacy, UK with a Foreign Commonwealth Office scholarship.
