Biography
· Dr Jeremy Chow is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist practising at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. His clinical interests are in arrhythmia management and stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation. · Dr Jeremy Chow received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and subsequently obtained his Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine in 2006 from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He was admitted as a member of both the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom and the Royal College of Physicians of London in the same year. After completing his general cardiology training, Dr Chow was awarded a Ministry of Health scholarship and completed his fellowship at Kerckhoff Klinik, Germany, where he specialised in interventional electrophysiology and complex cardiac device management. · Dr Chow is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Singapore), the European Society of Cardiology and the Asean College of Cardiology. He was certified as a Cardiac Device Specialist by the Heart Rhythm Society in 2012 and is currently a member of this society and the Asian Pacific Heart Rhythm Society. · Dr Chow was previously a consultant cardiologist at Changi General Hospital, visiting consultant at the National Heart Centre and clinical lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS. He is currently also a visiting consultant at the National University Hospital and has vast experience in coronary angiography, electrophysiology studies and ablation. · Dr Chow is also highly experienced in the implant of pacemakers and defibrillators, as well as cardiac resynchronization therapy, both locally and internationally. An avid contributor to cardiology education and training, Dr Chow’s works are evident in cardiac journals and he is regularly invited to speak at international medical conferences.
