Dr. Lim Yean Teng

Biography

A/Prof Lim graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 1983.  After completing his training in Internal Medicine, he underwent cardiology training at the Epworth Hospital in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and Cardiac Department at the National University Hospital in Singapore.  He then spent 18 months at the Division of Cardiovascular Disease, Department of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA and received further training in the field Interventional and Nuclear Cardiology.  He subsequently went for further training in Percutaneous Mitral Valvulopasty (In Kaoshiong, Taiwan) and Peripheral Intervention Fellowship at the Prairie Heart Institute in Springfield, Illinois, USA.
