Biography
Dr Yong is the Senior Consultant for the Department of Haematology-Oncology at the National University Health System
. He is also an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow
 at the Cancer Science Institute Singapore of National University of Singapore. Dr Yong obtained his medical degree and postgraduate training in University of Aberdeen, Scotland. After completing an oncology fellowship at the National University Hospital, he was awarded the A*STAR international clinical pharmacology fellowship at the University of Chicago. His clinical interest is in gastrointestinal cancers and his research interests are pharmacogenetics and epigenetics in cancer.
