Mr. Tan Pua Yong

Biography

Mr. Tan Pua Yong is General Manager of Chemical Industries (Far East) Limited. Mr Tan Pua Yong joined the Group in August 1988 as Assistant Plant Manager and was promoted to Plant Manager in April 1991 and General Manager in July 2013. He graduated in 1973 from the University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree. In 1979, he obtained his Master of Science (Industrial Engineering) degree from the same university. Mr Tan is a registered Professional Engineer and a licensd Electrical Engineer. He is also a Singapore Certified Energy Manager. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Tan was a Senior Engineer with the Public Utilities Board.
