Mr. Teo Ek Pheng

Biography

Mr. Teo Ek Pheng is Logistics Manager of Chemical Industries (Far East) Limited. He joined the Group in 1965 as a trainee in the production department. As a stalwart of the Group, Mr Teo was involved in various operations of the Group over the years, including the sales & marketing function. In 1991, with the setting up of the Group’s transportation subsidiary, Mr Teo was promoted to Executive with overall responsibility for the Group’s distribution business. He is concurrently a Director in this transportation subsidiary. With the increasing importance of ensuring an efficient and effective logistics support for the Group’s growing business, Mr. Teo was subsequently promoted to Logistics Manager to oversee the entire shipping, distribution, import of raw materials and export of the Group’s chemicals.
