Dr Chua Ee Chek

Biography

 ·         Dr Chua Ee Chek is an eye (ophthalmology) surgeon currently practising at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. In addition to general ophthalmology, Dr Chua is an experienced cataract surgeon with special interest in small incision, sutureless cataract surgery with premium multifocal, toric lens and wavefront foldable implants. ·         Prior to entering private practice, Dr Chua worked in Singapore General Hospital and Singapore National Eye Centre after his fellowship, training in Glaucoma and Comprehensive Ophthalmology. ·         An experienced cataract surgeon in private practice for the past 20 years, Dr Chua Ee Chek has special interests in modern small incision cataract surgery with premium multifocal intraocular lens implants using the latest technology. In 2013, Dr Chua pioneered the use of trifocal intraocular implants in Singapore and has successfully implanted about 350 of these implants with good results.
