Biography
Dr. John Ambroseo has served as Coherent’s President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as a member of the Board of Directors since October 2002. He served as Coherent’s Chief Operating Officer from June 2001 through September 2002 and as Executive Vice President and as President and General Manager of the Coherent Photonics Group from September 2000 to June 2001. From September 1997 to September 2000, Dr. Ambroseo served as Coherent’s Executive Vice President and as President and General Manager of the Coherent Laser Group. From March 1997 to September 1997, Dr. Ambroseo served as Coherent’s Scientific Business Unit Manager. From August 1988, when Dr. Ambroseo first joined Coherent, until March 1997, he served as a Sales Engineer, Product Marketing Manager, National Sales Manager and Director of European Operations.
