Darren Thomas

Biography

Darren formed an environmental start-up as co-founder and Director in 2007, having previously been Regional Marketing Director (Asia) for a global info-telecom MNC. In between, Darren took time out to complete an MBA in Asia, building network and re-orienting career objectives towards environmental technologies and sustainability. Through extensive travel in developed and developing countries, I have established relationships amongst government, NGOs, trade and industry involved in the international trade of timber. Darren now a regular speaker at international forums such as the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), the World Forestry Congress, INTERPOL Environmental Crime and the International Tropical Timber Organisation.
