Biography
Following residencies in neurology and anesthesiology with fellowships in neurocritical care, neuroanesthesia, and vascular neurology, He joined the faculty in the Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University. Initially through the benefit of a National Institutes of Health training grant award and subsequent mentored funding from the American Heart Association in the Multidisciplinary Neuroprotection Laboratories. In addition,He used the model to evaluate the potential of several novel therapeutics for translation into human clinical trials.
Research Interest
Pursuit of translatable mechanisms of modifying neuro-inflammation after intracerebral hemorrhage to improve long-term functional recovery.
