Joanna Lim

Biography

  Joanna is a Speech and Language Therapist from Singapore. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology. She is a member of the Hanen Centre and is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council. Joanna has substantial expertise in paediatric clinical care, having previously worked in a special education school with children whom diagnosis range from speech and language delay and disorders to global developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder and multiple disabilities. She is trained in working with children with feeding issues, promoting parent-child interaction using the Hanen approach, and facilitating communication through Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Joanna is a bilingual therapist who believes in effective collaboration to bring out the best in every child.
