Biography
Senior Podiatrist MSc (UK), BSc (Hons) (UK), MFPM RCPS (Glasg) Member of UK HCPC Sani is a UK registered podiatrist with over 10 years clinical and research experience within the areas of lower limb and rheumatology. Sani obtained his pre-registration clinical training at the Leaf Hospital, Eastbourne followed by various NHS clinical placements around London and the South-east UK including King’s Diabetic Foot Clinic, University of London, UK. Sani maintains a keen interests in rheumatology and podo-paediatrics (childrens feet). This interest has led him to pursue post-graduate specialisation in rheumatology and worked towards his doctoral study in rheumatology Podiatry. Sani in 2015 was accepted as a member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine , Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, a membership of world renowned Podiatric experts. With passion in promoting general public foot health and the profession, Sani continues to promote awareness on the importance of maintaining healthy feet through regular foot health assessment by a qualified podiatrist especially those with chronic conditions. He believes regular foot health check able to minimise irreversible complications such as deformities and disabilities. From 2008, Sani has been a volunteer for the Special Olympics Asia Pacific (Brunei) under the “Fit-Feet” programme to promote proper foot health among children with learning disabilities. Sani has always love sunny Singapore, joining East Coast Podiatry and being a part of Singapore’s podiatry has been a dream come true for him. During his spare time, Sani also enjoys cooking and trying out various kinds of local food.
