Biography

Mr. Ee Chong Wee has been the Chief Executive Officer of United Overseas Bank Limited since April 27, 2007. Mr. Wee has been the Chief Executive Officer of Far Eastern Bank Limited since April 27, 2007 and serves as its President and Deputy Chairman. Mr. Wee served as Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chairman of BNP Paribas Arbitrage Issuance BV. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chairman of United International Securities Ltd. He is a career banker with more than 35 years’ experience. Mr. Wee served as an Executive Director of United International Securities Ltd. from March 7, 1988 to December 12, 2013. Mr. Wee served as the President of United Overseas Bank Limited from 2000 to April 2007. Mr. Wee joined United Overseas Bank Limited in 1979.
