Dr Chan is widely known in the region and is considered a foremost expert in the fields of coronary interventions, peripheral interventions including carotid stenting and aortic and mitral balloon valvuloplasty. He introduced several “first procedures” in Singapore, including transradial coronary interventions, rotablator atherectomy and aortic valvuloplasty. He is widely regarded as one of the leading authorities in the field of coronary interventions and is a faculty member of Trans Catheter Therapeutics (USA), TCT Asia Pacific (South Korea), PCR Asia (Singapore).
