Biography
Frederick Licciardi, M.D. is a fertility doctor with NYU Langone Fertility Center in New York City, practicing infertility treatment since 1992. Dr. Licciardi, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, was recruited to NYU, where he is credited with providing the expertise necessary for inception of its original IVF program
Research Interest
Dr. Licciardi is experienced in all aspects of infertility therapy and gynecologic surgery and provides a personalized approach to his patients. He is well known by his colleagues for his knowledge of oocyte donation and for development of NYU Fertility Center's oocyte donation program, of which he is the Director. NYU Fertility Center's donor egg program has a reputation for its high standards relating to genetic, psychological and medical screening. He serves as Associate Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and in that role provides didactic instruction for Fellows and Residents. Dr. Licciardi has been an invited speaker at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He also has authored more than 50 medical and scientific abstracts and publications many in the field of egg donation and donor screening.
