Biography
Biology of head and neck cancer stem cells, responses/sensitivity to DNA damage (drugs and radiation therapy), drug resistance and plasticity, molecular profiling of oral cancers, establishing 2D and 3D oral cancer models, modulation of tyrosine kinase inhibitor response in head and neck cancers, identification of novel drug targets and pathways in head and neck cancer, mouse models in oral cancer. Trial coordinator (translation research) for multi-centre phase III trial comparing efficacy of chemoRT versus chemoRT plus nimotuximab in post-operative patients with high-risk head and neck cancers IHN01 trial); surgical investigator for IMPACT study.
