Biography
Graduated in biology from Xingyang Normal University, China in biology in 1994, Master in Microbiology in Wuhan University, China in 1999, PhD in Genetics from Institute of Hydrobiology, The Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002. Postdoc in fish stem cell biology from Dept of Biological Sciences, National University of Singapore in Dec 2002 and in human mesencymal stem cells from Dept of Orthopaedic Surgery, National University of Singapore in Jan 2005. Led research team in the Dept of Orthopaedic Surgery, National University of Singapore focusing on cartilage differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells from July 2006.
