Biography
Dr Tang qualified as a surgeon in 1994. From 1997 to 2000, he trained in neurosurgery in England, UK. There, he trained under the late Dr Anthony Hockley at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and under Professor Garth Cruickshank and Dr Graham Flint at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. During this period, he attained experience in a wide spectrum of childhood and adult neurosurgical problems.
Research Interest
microsurgery and the treatment of various neurosurgical disorders involving the brain and the spine in both children and adults. Conditions include brain and spine tumours, brain aneurysm (swollen brain artery), carotid artery stenosis (narrowing of carotid artery), stroke, myelomeningocele (defect in backbone and spinal cord)
