Teo Kiang Kok

Biography

Mr Teo is the Lead Independent Director and chairs all Board meetings. He heads the Board's Nominating Committee and is a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Risk Management Committees. Mr Teo is a senior lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in legal practice. He was a partner of Shook Lin & Bok LLP (SLB) from 1988 to 2011 and was the head of its Corporate Finance and China practices. In the course of his legal practice, Mr Teo has advised on securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, as well as corporate law and regulatory compliance, in particular the listing and compliance requirements for companies listed on the Singapore Exchange. His regional practice included foreign investment work in and out of Singapore, the People's Republic of China, India and the ASEAN countries. He retired as a senior partner of SLB in May 2011 and is currently the senior consultant to SLB. Mr Teo also serves on the boards of Jadason Enterprises Ltd, Memtech International Ltd and Wilton Resources Holdings Ltd.
