Biography

Dr. Pua graduated from King’s College London with Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree while fulfilling the requirements to receive Associateship of King’s College (AKC). He was runner up of Souyave Senior Class Prize in Endodontics and John Mclean award for best presentation of a multidisciplinary treatment by British Dental Association of London. He started his career in both private and National Health Service practices in England. He subsequently completed a rigorous Foundation Year training in the highly sought after Oxford Postgraduate Deanery during which he attended many courses by renowned dentists. Dr. Pua further demonstrated his maturity beyond his peers as he was chosen to receive the Foundation Dentist award amidst nationwide practitioners with similar clinical experience from British Endodontic Society for performing quality root canal treatments.. Dr. Pua then obtained the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng), an assessment system developed jointly by the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) and the Faculty of Dental Surgery (RCS England). He is an accredited user of Inman Aligner, Invisalign, Osstem implants, Botox and Fillers as well as standard proficiency certification by Academy of Laser Dentistry to use Erbium and Diode Laser which covers virtually all dental procedures. Dr. Pua is constantly modernising and pushing the boundaries of dentistry. Apart from attending the Chicago Dental Conference, he completed his electives at University of California, Los Angeles and a New York aesthetic clinic. Combining his skills and knowledge in latest technological advancement such as Laser, microscope, 3D CT scans, computer aided design and manufactured crowns, he is able to provide extremely comprehensive treatment plans. His treatment outcome is aimed at the highest standard possible while keeping patients at ease.
