Biography

I'm now working in IBM Center for Blockchain Innovation in Singapore. My job is designing and provisioning blockchain solution to customers according to their requirement. I was working at IBM Research China on cloud computing especially openstack related projects. I used to focus on orchestration, and devops under Openstack environment, such as autoscaling and continuous deployment. Also worked for hybrid cloud infrastructure, such as integrate IBM softlayer with Openstack Heat. I'm now working on Openstack/Senlin project whose mission is providing cluster management service with advanced features(like autoscaling, HA) support. I'm also spending sometime on Apache/Mesos to evaluate its scalability in large-scale system and provide possible optimization. During this period, my research field included virtualization, multicore scheduling, I/O architecture, cloud computing and etc. My research work was mainly about I/O Qos mechanism in virtual machine scheduler and multi-core scheduler based on mission classification.
