Biography
Dr Whang Hwee Yong is a consultant Medical Oncologist at Icon SOC Farrer Park and Mt Elizabeth. She has previously consulted as an Associate Internist/Associate Profession of Medicine with the Department of Medicine at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston Texas, USA. Dr Whang is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and also has been a member of the American Association of Cancer Research and American Society of Clinical Oncology since 1977. In 1984, she was elected as a fellow to the Board of American College of Physicians (ACP), and also became a member of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
