Clive Turton

Biography

Clive Turton was appointed Non-Executive Director of InfraCo Asia Development Pte. Ltd. on 1 September 2014. Clive is currently President Asia Pacific for Vestas AS based in Singapore. Prior to this, Clive was Chief Executive Officer of Asia Power Development Platform, a power development company formed by Macquarie Capital and STEAG. Clive was previously Managing Director of APR Energy Asia Pacific, a fast-track IPP development company and Head of Corporate Finance and Head of the Utilities and Infrastructure sector for ING Bank in Asia. Clive is highly regarded as an infrastructure sector professional in Asia and possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience across project development, financing and capital markets transactions. He has been responsible for the establishment and management of a number of Asia Pacific infrastructure development businesses focussed on development, construction and operation of power generation assets across the region. Clive has been also involved in a large number of Asia’s major power transactions and privatizations as advisor, financier or developer during his 20-year career, including some of Asia’s largest cross-border M&A transactions. Clive previously worked as Business Development Director for Mirant Asia Pacific, as a lawyer for Clayton Utz in Sydney and for Gide Loyrette Nouel in Paris. He has Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degrees from the Australian National University.
