Biography
Dean Goodermote has spent most of the last 25 years leading early stage software companies through product development cycles, distribution expansion, brand creation and shareholder exit. He has led two companies through the Initial Public Offering process and four others to successful mergers. Currently, he is working with the start-up ""Vinyl Dreams,"" a virtual music studio. Prior to that he was Chairman and CEO of Asset Control, a financial data software company and prior to that he was the Chairman, and CEO of Double-Take Software, an infrastructure software company. Dean also spent 3 years as the venture/private equity business and has held numerous board positions, both public and private. He has participated actively in many nonprofit ventures and currently is on the Health Advisory Board of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and chairs the Advisory Board for its Center on Refugees and Disaster Response. He is on the board of Trustees of the Berklee College of Music and the New England Aquarium. He teaches and holds an Honorary Professorship of Entrepreneurship at HHL (Leipzig, Germany) Graduate School of Management and is a U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association official and active in freestyle/freeride skiing. He also is a part time musician, currently playing with the jazz/rock band, House Red.
