Biography
Dr Aya Taki is an early career Research Fellow at the Molecular Allergy Research Laboratory in the Division of Tropical Health and Medicine, as well as taking part in the Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine, at James Cook University, Townsville. She is currently undertaking multiple projects on fish allergy, funded by the NHMRC project grant, with a strong affiliation to the Centre for Food and Allergy Research (CFAR) based at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute in Melbourne.Dr Aya Taki is an early career Research Fellow at the Molecular Allergy Research Laboratory in the Division of Tropical Health and Medicine, as well as taking part in the Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine, at James Cook University, Townsville. Research Interest
Dr Aya Taki’s current research focuses on the characterisation of fish allergens and improvement of diagnostic capacity by the development of the novel in vitro and in vivo IgE-mediated fish allergy tests.
