Biography
Dr Daniel Lee obtained his medical degree from University Putra Malaysia in 2004 and earned his Membership qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2009. After completing his surgical training in Singapore and becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2015, he went on to complete a colorectal fellowship programme with particular focus on advanced/complex rectal cancer at the John Goligher Colorectal Surgery Unit in Leeds. He then spent 6 months as a trauma fellow at the Royal London Hospital. He is skilled in performing diagnostic endoscopy and more advanced work such as polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection and endoscopic hemostasis. He is a member of the local hospital’s trauma committee and is also one of the consultants who lead the Emergency Surgery and Trauma (ESAT) service.
