Biography
Dr Shahla Siddiqui is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Anaesthesia. She graduated from Aga Khan University Medical College in Pakistan with a Bachelors’ of Medicine and Surgery in 1994 and joined Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York, USA, as a Surgery Intern from 1997-1998. She then completed her Residency Training in the University of Maryland, USA, in 2001 and successfully completed a one year Fellowship in Critical Care from Columbia University, New York. In 2002, she joined the Department of Anaesthesia in Aga Khan University as a Consultant and in 2004 she was promoted to the Academic Rank of Assistant Professor.
