Biography
Dr Yap has a keen interest in the biomedical and social aspects of ageing, especially in the areas of dementia, end of life care, support of caregivers of elderly patients and the use of infocomms technology in geriatric care. He sits on the committees of the Alzheimer's Association of Singapore, the National Dementia Network at the Ministry of Health. and also chairs the steering committee for Person Centred Care and Dementia Care Mapping in Singapore.He was a member of the team responsible for the MOH Clinical Practice Guidelines for Dementia.
