Chew Min Hoe

Biography

Associate Professor Chew is the Head of Department and Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Sengkang, Alexandra Hospital and also Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Singapore General Hospital. He graduated from NUS in 2001, obtained his higher degree specialist training fellowship in General Surgery in 2010 and had his overseas HMDP fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital at Sydney, where he had extensive training in the diagnosis, assessment and management of pelvic exenterations for recurrent rectal cancers. He is conversant with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, laparoscopic colorectal surgery. He is mentor to many of the younger surgeons, who had been trained in the department.
