Biography
Cassandre was born in Belgium and moved to the South West of France when she was 5 years old. She obtained her Bachelor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Paul Sabatier University of Toulouse in 2011. The year after that she enrolled in an exchange program and studied at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. She earned her Master in Structural and Functional Biology from the Paul Sabatier University of Toulouse in 2013. Under the direction of Christel Vérollet, she studied actin remodelling in human primary macrophages in the context of HIV-1 infection. She joined the lab in February 2014.
