Biography
Yu Yi holds a Ph.D. degree in statistical physics and has 6+ year experience in data science across acadamia and industry including NTU, Garena Group, Merck Sharp & Dohme. His interest lies in extracting value from the data to better serve the business. He is a good data science consultant able to translate the language between the business and IT and understand the business requirement. He is also a good programmer with hands-on experience on various big data tools and techniques including Hadoop, Spark, A/B testing & applied machine learning. He has strong passion to work in a challenging environment and apply analytic skills to deliver innovative solutions to various business demands.
