Biography
Singapore based artist, Visual Effects Supervisor and Associate Professor, Benjamin Seide is dedicated to Animation and Visual Effects with over 15 years of professional experience. His Visual Effects work contributed to international feature films such as Roman Polanski's Oliver Twist, Wim Wender's Don't Come Knocking and Martin Scorsese’s Hugo (Academy Award Oscar 2012 for Best Visual Effects). As a VFX Supervisor and Creative Director for Pixomondo Shanghai he designed immersing 4D effects for the World Expo 2010 General Motors’ pavilion, directed visual effects for Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Peugeot and Toyota TV commercials and supervised a team of local and international VFX artists creating Hollywood quality for feature films such as Tom Cruise's blockbuster Oblivion, JJ Abraham's Star Trek - Into The Darkness and HBO's Game of Thrones, for which he received Honors for Contributions to the Emmy Award Winning Achievement - Outstanding Special Visual Effects from the Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences. Since 2013 he lectures Visual Effects at the School of Arts, Design and Media in Singapore.
