Biography
Dr Koh is currently working in DSO National Laboratories. He received his B. Sc degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), UK in 1979, M. Sc degree from Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), USA in 1987 and his PhD degree from The Ohio State University (OSU) in 1995. He has been working with DSO National Laboratories since 1981. He is currently Head of Electromagnetic System Laboratory. He is a pioneer in military EMI/EMC locally and he set up the first EMC test facility to meet Mil-Std 461C in 1984. He has been an EMC consultant to the SAF for more than 20 years. Dr Koh is a senior member of IEEE and has chaired technical sessions for the 2006 EMC Zurich Symposium in Singapore and the 2008 Asia Pacific Symposium on EMC in Singapore. Dr Koh is currently teaching the EE 6303 course together with Dr See Kye Yak, and is the Co-director for EMERL.
Research Interest
EMC includes reverberation chamber, lightning protection of UAV and EMI prediction.
