Singapore
Biography
Prof Wong is an Associate Professor with the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering since May 2008. He received his Ph.D. and MEng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang University of Technology in 2005 and 2002 respectively, and the B.Eng degree in Manufacturing Engineering from University of Birmingham in 1997. Dr Wong leads a multidisciplinary team focuses on computational methods to explore in-depth nano-scale engineering problems where thorough scientific investigations and novel insights may provide a solution to a real-world problem. He is the PI of several projects funded by A*STAR SERC, NRF, MINDEF and industries.
Research Interest
Adoption of atomistic and computational modelling and simulation techniques to gain new scientific knowledge and insights, and develop new technologies.
