Biography
Prof Yeo is an Associate Professor with the School of Aerospace Engineering since 1990. He received his PhD from Imperial College, London in 1990. Prof Yeo was in the oil and gas industry for 3 years from 1980 to end 1982. He pursued his BSc ( Mech Engg) at Stratchclyde University, Scotland and graduated with 1st Class Hons in 1984. He worked for Exxon Refinery as a Project engineer for 3 years before pursuing his PhD. Prof Yeo’s research focus has been in medical device and his mainly work is reconstruction of artificial heart valves in which he has filed 3 patents.
Research Interest
Heart valves engineering, arterial pusle waveform analysis, pulse waveform analysis and TCM tongue imaging.
