Biography
Prof Zhou is an Assistant Professor with the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering since April 2010. He received the Ph.D. degree in Bioacoustics from Duke University in 2003, and the M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Electrical Science and Engineering from Nanjing University in 1999 and 1996, respectively. Dr Zhou leads a multidisciplinary team focuses on ultrasound technology in biomedical applications. He is the PI of several projects funded by A*STAR SERC, NTU-NHG, MOE, NRF.
Research Interest
Shock wave lithotripsy to break kidney stone, high-intensity focused ultrasound for cancer ablation and drug delivery, nondestructive evaluation/testing.
