Biography
Dr Yang obtained her medical degrees from the National University of Singapore (MBBS), the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom [MRCP(UK)] and the Masters of Medicine (S’pore). She later completed her advanced specialist training in Endocrinology at National University Hospital. She then completed a fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York where she was involved in clinical research and clinical work pertaining to thyroid nodule and thyroid cancer. Her interests are in the evaluation of patients with thyroid nodules and the treatment of thyroid cancer patients. She is involved in genetic studies for the evaluation of patients with thyroid nodules. She also has a keen interest in the treatment of metabolic bone disease.
