Biography
Dr Sharon Koh graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (MBBS) where she also obtained her Masters of Medicine (Surgery). She obtained her fellowship diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and had completed here fellowship training program in Colorectal Surgery at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, USA. During her time there, she received training in minimally invasive colorectal surgery and proctology, and management of complex inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dr Koh’s other interest include advanced endoscopic management of both benign and malignant lesions in the gastrointestinal tract for which she has published papers and book chapters.Dr Koh has keen interest in the field of clinical research and is also active in her role as a Clinical Lecturer in YLLSoM (NUS), where she is involved in the education of both under and post graduate students.
